Life happens. And when it does, things can be a little late. My apologies to those events which have already happened. The good news is there’s still lots to do. There’s even a little old book signing for the pocket guide (shameless self promotion) at the oldest continuously running book store in the country, the Moravian Book Shop. Come say hi!
The Sphere is here! And it’s ready for you to go see it.
Here are some photos of some of the damage I saw on a walk by the Bushkill Creek and up around Lafayette College this morning.
Tomorrow, at about 10 am, First Lt. Bruce Lawrence’s funeral procession will come over the Free Bridge from Phillipsburg. It will be a procession of an estimated 2,000 motorcycles and cars following a horse-drawn carriage. He was a Phillipsburg High School grad and a fighter pilot in the Vietnam War. His jet was shot down over N. Vietnam in 1968. His remains were discovered in June. Tomorrow they will be brought home.

Happy Labor Day, Weekend! Celebrate it with a classic Lehigh Valley festival, a brand new music one, or the kickoff of and all vegetarian foods week! I think we’re really cookin’ now. Enjoy!

Why not discover something you’ve never known about or done before? If you’ve never been to an art opening in an alley in Easton, maybe try #9. Never had a meal from the Pacific Rim? #3. Never seen people perform with fire? #2. Yep. It’s all in here.
