Now grown up, the friends must reconcile real life with their dreams. Part of Wilson’s acclaimed Talley family trilogy, “Fifth of July” is a bittersweet portrait of the rock ‘n roll generation at the precise moment they realize the fireworks ended yesterday. At once poignant and marvelously funny, The New York Times called it the “wisest and funniest play of its generation.” Civic will be the first to bring Fifth of July to the Lehigh Valley.
