1. Palmer Twp. Community Weekend
Friday, 6pm to Midnight, Saturday, 5pm to Midnight, Sunday, 3pm to 10pm Fairview Park, Mine Lane & Fairview Avenue, Palmer Township
Summer might be drawing to a close soon but that doesn’t mean there aren’t anymore fairs! Get out to Palmer Days in Fairview park for some good fair food, music, and rides. This is a wonderful family friendly event and a traditional classic that shouldn’t be missed.
2. Burning Hearts Fire Performance – “Crazy with the Heat”
Saturday, 8:30pm, Union Terrace Park, 939 W Union St., Allentown
You don’t have to go to Hawaii to see fire twirling. A group of fire artists known as The Burning Hearts Fire Performance will be putting on a show at Union Terrace Park this weekend. This kind of fire art isn’t often found on the east coast, so get out what this group turn up the heat.
3. Pacific Rim Dinner
Sunday from 5 to 8 pm, The Starfish, 51 W. Broad St., Bethlehem
A special dinner with dishes inspired by nations of the Pacific Rim. Dinner will be $35 with optional wine pairing
4. Book Signing: “The End of Country” by Seamus McGraw
Sunday, 1 to 3pm, Moravian Book Shop, 428 Main St. Bethlehem

5. Wandering Root Live at Pearly Baker’s
Friday, 10pm to 1am, Pearly Baker’s, Centre Square, Easton
It’s TJ Duddy’s birthday and now it’s time to celebrate at Pearly Bakers. Hosted by Wandering Root, this birthday bash will certainly be a good time. Bring your friends and enjoy good times and good music in downtown Easton.
6. Todd Wolfe Band at Grumpy’s BBQ Roadhouse
Friday, 9:30pm to 12:30am, Grumpy’s BBQ Roadhouse, 3000 Mauch Chunk Rd., Mechanicsville

7. Free E-Waste Recycling Event
Friday and Saturday from 9am to 2pm, Northampton Community College, 3835 Green Pond Rd., Bethlehem

8. Saturday Morning Road Ride – Every Saturday!
Saturday, 9am to 11am, Cutter’s Bike Shop, 418 E. Third St., Bethlehem
This will be a weekly ride out of Cutters Bike Shop led by Lisa Ronca. C pace (14-15 mi/hr) according to group leaving from the shop and heading out for 25 mi avg length. Returning to the shop for bagels and a cool down. Rain cancels ride, if usnure of weather check our website or fan page for updated info.
9. Grand Opening of “Our Garage Space” — New Art Space in Downtown Easton
Saturday, 6pm to 10pm, 43 North Sitgreaves St., Easton
This cool new art space will feature three artists and two musicians for its Grand Opening. And if you didn’t already know, this is one of my all-time alleys in Easton. If you think alleys are a place to be afraid of, think again. This one’s pure enchantment. Oh, and it’s within crawling distance of Easton’s best restaurants, so it would be really easy to make a night of it. Sitgreaves = the alley next to Sogo.
