4. Vagina Monologues
Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 7pm, and Sunday at 3pm, Packard Lab Auditorium, Lehigh University, Bethlehem
Eve Ensler’s award-winning play “The Vagina Monologues” will be performed this weekend at Lehigh for VDAY. All proceeds will be donated to Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley and the women and girls of Haiti to provide support services to survivors of gender violence. Tickets are $7 each, and are also available at a group rate of $50 for ten tickets. Tickets are available in advance by calling 610-758-6484. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
5. Lehigh vs. Colgate Fan Appreciation Day
Saturday at 7pm, Stabler Arena, Bethlehem
From the website: Lehigh men’s basketball’s game vs. Colgate on Saturday, Feb. 11 will be FREE of charge as part of a special Fan Appreciation Night. Tipoff against the Raiders is set for 7 p.m. in Stabler Arena. As part of the night, Lehigh Athletics has partnered with Radio Disney (AM 640) to provide on-site entertainment, prizes and more.
6. Red Bull Butter Cup
Saturday from 2 to 7pm, Centre Square, Easton
A snowboarding contest in the center of Easton. Ramp set up in the Circle. For real. From the website: Red Bull Butter Cup is a contest series that showcases creativity in technical flatland trickery. Born in the northeast in 2009, it’s all about going back to the basics of what made us all fall in love with shredding in the first place: FUN! Butter up and cut loose on the custom Red Bull butter pads and bring your bag of tricks.
7. Flood Impact Hike
Sunday from 1 to 3pm, Meets at Fish Ladder Parking Lot, Rt. 611S, Easton
Take an adventurous hike over rough terrain to see what last year’s flood waters did to the towpath. The hike will be about 3 miles round trip.
