1. Opening of the Sigal Museum
Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, 342 Northampton St., Easton
Make history at the Grand Opening of this brand new museum for the Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society. To see more photos, check out A Sign of Things to Come.
2. In the Heat of the Night – Free Fire Arts Performance
Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 pm, Union Terrace Park, near 20th & Walnut Sts., Allentown
Enjoy more than a dozen East Coast fire performers using poi, staff, hoop, fans and more at a unique outdoor amphitheater. This show is free but donations are gratefully accepted. Presented by Idea Dome.
3. Everybody Study
Friday from 12 to 5 pm, Kmart, 320 S. 25th St., Easton
Tom Ring, owner of Tom Ring’s Brown Daub Kia in Easton, PA, is offering his very own “Everybody Study” Back-To-School stimulus package. Tom will give out free school supply packages to the first 1000 kids 12 and under.
4. Musikfest – Last 3 Days!
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Various Locations, Historic Bethlehem
There’s three more days to enjoy this annual musik festival/extravaganza. Performers include Adam Lambert, the Philadelphia Funk Authority and the final, final, last ever (really?) performance of the Insidious Rays. 5. PRIDE in the Park
Sunday from 12 to 5 pm, Cedar Beach Park, Allentown
The Pride in the Park Festival acknowledges the achievements and progress made in and by the local gay community and beyond. The event includes vendors, merchants, artisans, business services and community groups, games and live entertainment. Pride in the Park has grown to include over 4,000 attendees and is held on the charming grounds of Cedar Beach Park in Allentown, PA.
6. Mercantile Home’s 2 Year Birthday Celebration
Saturday from 4 to 7 pm, 526 Northampton St., Easton

7. India Day Parade
Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm, Various Locations, Allentown
From the event listing: Indian-Americans of the Greater Lehigh Valley brings you the 2nd India Day Parade. Enjoy the parade, floats, dance, food and music! Sunday Aug. 15th at Allentown City Hall. Flag raising 11 AM – Parade 11:30 AM – Cultural Program 1 PM. Cultural programs will be held at Allentown Arts Park 510 W. Linden St.
8. Hard Bean Cafe Block Party
Sunday from 12 to 10 pm, 201 E. 3rd St., Bethlehem
Enjoy the last day of Musikfest on the South Side at this epic block party! Too much music to list here, so check out their facebook event page. Food by Hard Bean Cafe and Starters Riverport. Book Signing by Tanya Wright of 24 and True Blood. This is also a great place to view the Musikfest finale fireworks.
