1. Oktoberfest

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, SteelStacks, Bethlehem

The inaugural Oktoberfest at SteelStacks has begun! Experience an authentic German Oktoberfest with a special Pennsylvania flair. Highlighting the event is the 100-foot by 240-foot Yuengling Festhalle tent at PNC Plaza, featuring German food, beer, and German, rock and polka music.

2. Easton Garlic Fest

Saturday and Sunday, Easton Centre Square and Riverside Park, Easton

Gilroy, California will have nothing on Easton this weekend.

3. Boomer’s Pick – Dressed to the K-9’s Charity Gala

Friday from 7 to 10 pm, Candlelight Inn, 4431 Easton Ave., Bethlehem

Put on some fancy threads to help support our furry friends.

4. The 4th Annual West End Oktoberfest

Saturday from 12 to 10 pm, the 500 block of North 19th St., Allentown

Two Oktoberfests are better than one! Enjoy live music and performances, great food and fun activities for families and children, including a pumpkin decorating contest.

5. Fest O Fall

Saturday from 12 to 5 pm, Biery House/George Taylor House/Front St. Businesses, 8 Race St., Catasauqua

Celebrate the change of seasons in one of the sweetest little towns in the Valley. This is one of my favorite places to escape and discover a whole other world of history.

6. Third Annual Brian Hahl/VMB Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day

Sunday from 1 to 4 pm, Jordan Creek Park, Whitehall

In memory of Brian Hahl, who shared his love of cycling with so many kids, the Valley Mountain Bikers are proud to invite you to the Third Annual Brian Hahl Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day.

7. Lehigh Valley Oral Cancer Awareness Walk

Saturday from 9:30 am to 1 pm, Bethlehem Township Community Center, 2900 Farmersville Rd., Bethlehem

The 3rd annual, 3-mile walk at the Bethlehem Township Municipal Park. Free oral cancer screenings, kids area and activities, raffle items. Food and drink included.

8. Greek Food Festival

Saturday at 4:30 pm to Sunday at 6 pm, Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 319 S. 20th St., Easton

Two words: Greek Food. Enough said. (Dancing, too, if that wasn’t enough.)

9. Simply Savory: A Monday to Love

Monday from 5:30 to 9 pm, Hampton Inn, Easton

A night of fine food from over 20 of the Valley’s best restaurants and caterers. All money raised will benefit ProJeCt of Easton. A portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible.
