5. Stop the Frack Attack Rally
Saturday, 2pm to 5pm, 1st Street, Washington DC
While this may not be a Valley-centered event, the Stop the Frack Attack Rally is important because fracking affects all of us. Fracking is a very real and environmentally dangerous thing. It is up to us to protect it, so we need to make our thoughts known to our leaders. It may be a bit of a trip, but it’s important to let our elected officials know how we feel about this very serious issue.

8. Live in the Square – Xylophone People
Friday, 7:30pm to 9:30pm, Centre Square, Easton
Usually when we think of the xylophone we end take a trip down memory lane to elementary school when the teacher would get out the multi color percussion instrument. The Xylophone People, however, are anything but elementary. This unique group from Brooklyn will be performing in Easton’s Centre Square this Friday evening and will be bringing with them their one of a kind blend of jazz, roots blues and exotic world percussion. This is not your run of the mill music show and definitely worth seeing.
